Description
The Sabertooth 2x5A RC Motor Driver is ideal for differential motor control of robots, tanks, cars and boats. It is suitable for weights of 15 kg (1.5 kg for combat robots).
This motor driver is intended for use with a radio remote control: it is pre-wired to connect to an RC receiver (it can not be controlled by analog and serial modes).
The Sabertooth 2x5A R/C has independent modes for speed and direction, making differential control easier. During each slowdown or change of direction of rotation of the motor, the SaberTooth motor controller recharges the battery, allowing a greater autonomy of the robot.
It allows sudden changes of direction and quick stops. A 5 VDC output is available to power a microcontroller or RC receiver.
Power supply: 6 to 18 VDC (NiCd, NiMh, Lithium, Lead Acid)
This card can not be powered by AC power.
